Aila trio is an experimental jazz trio based in Norway. The compositions on Shaped by Sea Waves, written by bass player, Aila Georgia Mae Wartel Collins, can be described as storytelling melodies that evoke a dreamlike state. Alongside Georgia’s compositions, the trio creates ground riveting soundscapes with their punk-ish free jazz beats and minemalistic improvisations.
