“Look, listen! The dark psychological examination begins.”
Thus starts Doctor Bob’s 2nd CD entitled It’s About Time. Doctor Bob views the world with a jaundiced eye, a fevered brain and a heavy heart. Doctor Bob fears that we have become terminally ill from the toxic excesses of unbridled capitalism, religious orthodoxy and political opportunism. The Doctor’s prescription: Sing and dance. The songs come from many visible and invisible sources - dreams, memories, the front pages. Some come from translating abstract writing into English. Others come from David’s dreams of childhood or friends who have passed. Sometimes Bob is seized by a group of words that want to enter his mouth, swim around, and leap back out into the world arrogantly and defiantly.
“Don’t you think it’s about time you thought about time? I mean there’s not much time left.”

Bob Marsh - cello, vocals
David Michalak - lap steel guitar

Andre Custodio – drums, djembe, doumbek
Bill Noertker – doublebass
Karen Stackpole - drums

"Fiendish cacophonies, viscid embryos of songs and the renunciation to any kind of consolatory message certify that this CD is basically destined to be ejected from the player after mere minutes. Wrong move: it’s great stuff, produced by trained musicians who just don’t want to do something normal." - Massimo Ricci, Touching Extremes
